The Living Pins share new video for single “Gold”

The Living Pins’ Pam Peltz says “GOLD is basically A BIG SUMMERTIME JAM.  It’s really fun to play.  It was fun to record.  And we wanted to make sure the video looked fun too.  I don’t know if you can watch it and not end up with a smile on your face.”

“108”, a second single from the “Gold” Bubble Studios session, will be released later this summer.

Living Pins’ 2021 single “Downtown” is included in new film Crossroads by director Andy Delaney

“Downtown” from 2021’s Freaky Little Monster Children EP is included in CROSSROADS (2024) — a new film by director Andy Delaney — out on Apple and Amazon today Fri Mar 28. The film was beautifully photographed and made on location in Houston TX.  Listen for “Downtown” in the background of the risotto-restaurant-scene.

NEW SINGLE “GOLD” OUT FEBRUARY 28, 2025

The Living Pins’ FIRST single of 2025 premiered in The Cosmic Clash (read here)

“1990s Austin was a crucible of musical innovation, a scene that pulsed with a raw, fearless energy, shaping the soundscape we know today. In that era of bold originality, The Living Pins stood out, their ripples still resonating. Born in 1996 from the creative spark between Carrie Clark (Sixteen Deluxe) and Pam Peltz (Ursa Major), this “side project” captured the wonderfully chaotic spirit of the time.”
